F.A.Q

How are we different to what’s already out there?

321 Science provides you with the resources to teach the sessions, and they are your schools to keep.  The materials include speciality items that will last, as long as they’re taken care of, as well as general consumables that are easily replaced.

With all the information on the internet, there are heaps of lesson ideas out there, but they take time to sift through, get the resources for and then try before doing with a class. Luckily for you, we’ve done the hard part and have compiled everything into one easy to use kit. We’ve tried the experiments in our own classes, figured out how to have the most fun without a ridiculous mess to clean up and tweaked each experiment to make sure they align with the NZC.

Cost

If you’ve purchased teaching materials from MTA or Creative Classrooms, you know they’re generally not cheap. Our vision is to get fun, hands-on science happening in primary schools across New Zealand in the best way possible. Not only does the programme come with all of the materials, but it also has complete lesson plans designed to last 5 weeks, as well as links to other curriculum areas that your school can continue to use for years to come.

When you sign up we’ll require a deposit for the kit, and the rest of the payment can be made at a later date.

Subscriptions

What if I want to try one to start and then sign up for the year subscription?

As we are a new initiative, we completely understand your want to trial the kit for one term before committing to the year. We welcome schools to do this, and if you love 321 Science and want to subscribe for the rest of the year after your first term, we will take the amount you’ve already paid off of the yearly subscription rate.

Professional Development

Do you come to schools?

No there is no need! You are the teacher and you are the expert. Our kits make it easier for busy teachers to teach science, but everything in the pack is pretty straight forward and easy to understand.
